Making a Difference
The S.O.S (Save Our Seniors) program seeks to meet the growing needs of low-income seniors by delivering healthy food, toiletries/personal care items, and cleaning supplies to hundreds of seniors.
This program is a supplement to low-income seniors in our local community. Those who find it difficult to purchase food/household supplies on a regular basis and do not have means of transportation.
Seniors living in low and subsidized housing and extended stay motels and seniors who are raising their grandchildren.
Our Monthly Distributions Include:
Cleaning Products: Laundry and dish detergents, paper towels, softener, garbage bags, bathroom cleaner, disinfectant wipes, and spray cleaners.
Toiletries/Personal Care Items: Toilet tissue, tissues, denture cleaner, mouthwash, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, soap, depends/adult diapers and pads, shaving cream, socks, etc.
Food: Ensure, Glucerna, diabetic shakes, oatmeal, grits, hot chocolate, tea, soup, fruit cups, chili, pasta, frozen or fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, and eggs.
Please consider hosting a drive for food or supplies at your place of business, church, or in your youth group.
We gladly welcome donations
of these items!
