FAY JOSEPHS

Founder and Executive Director

Fay has been a passionate advocate for families in need for over 20 years. In 2006, her passion led her to establish a Bible Study Ministry to bring women together in a supportive way. This simple objective blossomed into a life-changing ministry which offered two innovative programs: mentoring for young girls and support services for battered women.

Fay's ministry expanded in 2010 with the addition of the Save Our Seniors Program.  During her over 14 years career with Social Services, Fay witnessed first-hand the struggle for survival for low-income and vulnerable senior citizens.  The Save Our Seniors program was born out of a desire to help this often overlooked group of individuals.

After several years of working with both seniors and youths, Fay considered how the existing programs and services could be enhanced by adding an intergenerational approach and changed the organization name to Mending The Gap Inc. which reflects its current vision, to inspire the youth and enrich the lives of older adults through basic support, companionship and intergenerational programs.

Fay is a wife, a mother of two and a grandmother. A Small Group Coach  and a Care Minister at Victory Church in Norcross. Fay is also the author of the inspirational memoir, "Pain Is Part of the Plan" and continues to advocate for issues such as sexual assault, domestic violence and sex trafficking.
