“We want to thank Mending The Gap (Lawrenceville, GA) for the tremendous assistance given to us. Being senior citizens we needed assistance in our home with painting and repairs, including water leakage and mold around and outside our kitchen window and a broken staircase banister.
Our income could not cover the job. Mending the Gap stepped in and provided us with a team of men eager to take on the task. Though they were seniors themselves with various backgrounds, they eagerly and persistently worked until the jobs were finished. They did a wonderful job and never complained, even in the cold.
I must say, Mending The Gap is a god-send in blessing seniors and other needy families in the community providing food, cleaning, and other programs to bring hope to needy seniors and encourages young people and volunteers to get involved as well. Founded by Fay Josephs, a hard working and devoted Christian who believes in sharing her love, understanding and passion for seniors, she tirelessly pours herself into her work and does whatever she can to make lives better for those in the surrounding communities.
