Elder abuse is a silent problem that robs seniors of their dignity, security, and—in some cases—costs them their lives. Mending the Gap is hosting an event with live performances to raise awareness around the critical issue of elder abuse and neglect, educating the public on prevention, and to also raise funds to expand our impactful services which assist venerable seniors who are struggling to live healthy and independently. At this event we are also honoring seniors who have made significant contributions in our community.

1. Sponsor 8-10 seniors to attend the event ($35 per senior to attend)

2.  Purchase a vendor table or booth at the event- $300

 

As a sponsor, your business will receive recognition at this event and on our website, providing a great value for your advertising dollar! You will reach a large group of seniors as well as other individuals and community leaders through this event.

 

Your participation will show your community that you are committed to the wellbeing of all senior citizens and support Mending the Gap’s efforts toward keeping seniors safe, healthy and less isolated.

All funds raised directly support:

• Companionship-Social and intergenerational engagement and friendly calls with seniors, which helps to alleviate isolation and loneliness.

• Assistance which include weekly distribution of food, toiletries and personal care items to meet the basic needs of hundreds of low-income seniors. Mending the Gap currently serves 600+ seniors.
